The Hamblen Group provides training and testing for armed security officers, bail bonds, and private investigators. This training is geared towards passing the required test for armed security / bail bonds /investigators.
In June of 2009, we added personal training for the average person that desires to be familiar with safe gun handling and basic handgun shooting. We have also expanded our firearms training.
Instructors are certified by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC), Licensed by the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL), and Insured by a Private Insurance Company.
IMPORTANT: Re-certification is required each year for person(s) carrying a firearm during the duty day and in the performance of their assignment.

Certification for Armed: Security Guards / Private Investigators / Bail Bond Agents
- Testing exclusively for security officers, private investigators, and bail bonds Agents
- Is used for armed licensing purposes
- Can be used as professional development
- Currently certification is exclusively for handguns
- Training level is dictated by the students level of ability
- Geared to personnel requiring WSCJTC certification, but haven't shot enough to become proficient to pass the certification

Re-Certification
° This is offered to currently armed security guards / private detectives / Bail Bonds. This course is required by State Law and each armed person must qualify once a year.
° This is a three part course: brief review; written closed book test; & range testing.
Personal Training
Designed for the average person that desires to be familiar with safe gun handling and basic handgun operation.
