Since The Hamblen Group is a Security Services Company, we understand the need to get the basic information out to the security officers / guards quickly and with a specific focus. This module is designed to be security specific and to reduce training time.
CPR certificates are valid for one year from the course completion date. First aid certificates are valid for 3 years.
Recognize an emergency (we can incorporate your procedures into this portion)
Minimize the effects of shock and how to combat shock
How to mitigate officer stress
Treat sudden illnesses, including poisonings and heat and cold emergencies
Perform First Aid for cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, bleeding, and injuries to bones, joints, and muscles, such as sprains and strains
Recognize and care for choking, breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims who are 12-years-old or older.
Use the EMS system/9-1-1 (also incorporate your procedures into the program)
The laminated First aid and Adult CPR skills cards and First Aid bandage kit used during class can be purchased at cost.
This course meets OSHA and WISHA requirements.

Overview of Additional Topics
The following topics are offered at no additional cost and would extend training time by approximately one hour. This training is taught but no "hands on" is conducted.
If circumstances force you to cancel your class 50% is refundable. Classes are much like a concert or sporting event - The instructor must be paid even if no one comes to the class.
Although we do not like last minute changes to our schedule, and we know you don't either, we do reserve the right to cancel any class in the event of an emergency. Of course, refunds will be issued. Please know that we will always do our best to accommodate you.
